Hacker-Pschorr Brewery

Hacker-Pschorr is truly dedicated to the art of brewing. Since 1417, we have focused our brewery around quality ingredients, artful crafting, and fresh flavors. Hacker-Pschorr beers have always been brewed in accordance with the Reinheitsgebot (purity law) of 1516, which mandates that beer brewed in Bavaria consist of only malted barley, water and hops.

Weisse

Hacker Pschorr | Weisse

Hacker-Pschorr Weisse is the company’s flagship style, catering to consumers who know beer and appreciate the historic brand’s unique and complex flavor.

Tasting Notes: Traditionally cloudy with a light fluffy head, creating a special presentation when poured. Unique phenolic flavors of banana clove. Medium-bodied with a real zing on the tongue; a great session beer.

Ingredients: 100% natural. Brewed with pure spring water, Hacker-Pschorr’s centuries-old, exclusive yeast strain, Hallertau hops and 60% malted wheat and 40% malted barley.

Food Pairings: Pairs well with sausages, pork chops, summer salads, smoked salmon and cheese.

Original Oktoberfest

Hacker Pschorr | Oktoberfest

Description: Hacker-Pschorr Original Oktoberfest is an amber similar to the brew introduced at the first Munich Oktoberfest in 1810.

Tasting Notes: Full-bodied and flavorful, copper/amber in color with a rich creamy head that laces nicely down the glass. Robust, hearty flavor. A beer for all seasons.

Ingredients: 100% natural. Brewed with pure spring water, Hacker-Pschorr’s centuries-old, exclusive yeast strain, Hallertau hops and dark and light-colored malt from two-row Bavarian summer barley.

Food Pairings: Pairs well with kase-spatzle, potato salads, Mediterranean cuisine and on the sweeter side, plum cake, as a dessert.

Weisse Dark

Hacker Pschorr | Weissbier Dark

Description: Brewed according to old Munich tradition with the finest roasted dark wheat and barley. This bier is rich in flavor, yet lively in body. Your new favorite beer.

Tasting Notes: Perfect for spicy foods and spicier nights out, this dark wheat bier is surprisingly light and thoroughly refreshing. Pours a cloudy amber/bronze color with a mountainous head that becomes creamier as it settles. Tastes of banana/clove, smoky malt, roasted grains and a touch of light chocolate.

Munich Gold

Hacker Pschorr | Munich Gold

Description: Gold was the first Hacker-Pschorr beer exported to the U.S. starting in 1865 and was honored with an award at the International Exhibit in 1876 in Philadelphia.

Tasting Notes: Cloudy golden amber color with a nice lacy head. Praline, clay and delicate grain cereal aromas follow through on a smooth, supple entry to a dry medium body with accents of nectarine and golden raisin.

Hubertus Mai Bock

Hacker Pschorr | Hubertus Bock

Description: According to the legend ‘St. Hubertus’ protected a deer from two hunters. The deer was kneeling down and seeking refuge in front of a church. In honor of this noble act Hacker-Pschorr hosts the annual Hubertus Bock Spring Fest. St. Hubertus beer enjoys great popularity as one of the first Starkbiers.

Tasting Notes: Style: Maibock. foamy, lacy white head. Brilliantly clear pale gold. Malty bock character. Rich German Fest body. Feels like beer.
